The 10th annual New York African Restaurant Week (celebrating the best of African/African Diaspora cuisine and culture) is taking place from November 18 – December 4, 2022 – restaurants/establishments providing reduced prize menus
ARW HOLIDAY FESTIVAL – The “Week” also would include a “Holiday Festival” on Sunday December 4 from 12pm – 7pm – with a marketplace, food, culture and entertainment
The New York African Restaurant week aims to help stimulate the local economy and help people discover dishes they might not have had the opportunity to try before – (restaurants would provide dishes at a discounted rate.
The Celebration also includes a Holiday festival on December 4, 2022 produced Festival includes food tasting, a marketplace with vendors (food, fashion, art, crafts, wellness, beauty) , cultural performances, Afrobeat sets, poetry and more. The festival runs from 12pm – 7pm and will be held at the Ideal Glass Studios (indoor) 9 West 8th Street, New York, NY 10011
The African Restaurant Week which kicked off in New York city in 2013 brings together locals, tourists, foodies, culture enthusiasts, social influencers, entrepreneurs and more – it is a commitment to community development and social impact
