Dr. Oluyemi Badero is a renowned Nigerian-American interventional cardiologist, nephrologist, and a respected figure in the medical community. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Dr. Badero has made significant contributions to the fields of cardiology and nephrology, earning recognition both in the United States and internationally.
Career Achievements
Dr. Badero is distinguished for being one of the few doctors in the world who is both a cardiologist and a nephrologist. He completed his medical degree at the Obafemi Awolowo College of Health Sciences, Ogun State University in Nigeria. He furthered his training in the United States, completing fellowships in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and critical care medicine at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn.
Dr. Badero has held prestigious positions, including serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. His expertise spans treating complex cardiovascular conditions, and he has been involved in numerous research publications, contributing to advancements in heart and kidney health.
