PUT AFRICAN/BLACK DIASPORA CUISINE ON “FOODIE RADAR”

 Supporting Chefs/Artisans and Small Businesses

The 9th New York African Restaurant Week, celebrating the best of African/Black Diaspora cuisine and culture is taking place from October 15 – 31 2021.

SEE LIST OF PARTICIPATING RESTAURANTS/CAFES/BARS

The New York African Restaurant week works to stimulate the local economy and  encourage people to explore new dishes they might not have had the opportunity to try before – this is an opportunity in New York where food from Africa and the Black Diaspora finds itself on the “foodie” radar.

Some of the restaurants will be offering special menus and prices in honor of the week. Restaurants and chefs will also be hosting special events  – cooking classes, popup dinners and more

The African Restaurant Week which kicked off in New York city in 2013 brings together locals, tourists, foodies, culture enthusiasts, social influencers, entrepreneurs and more – it is a commitment to community development and social impact.
