Brooklyn, New York, July 22 & 23 — The African Popup Festival, an annual highlight in Brooklyn’s cultural calendar, is thrilled to announce an electrifying lineup of local  stars set to deliver live performances that will animate the city. The energetic performances promise to bring together communities, offering an authentic taste of local culture, creativity, and unity.

This immersive festival experience is scheduled to take place in Brooklyn (Hillel Plaza – Nostrand/Flatbush Junction, close to Brooklyn College).Attendees can look forward to electrifying performances from  among many others. 

“Our aim is to provide a platform for our talented local artists to shine and support culture,” says Akin Akinsanya, Organizer of the African Popup Festival. “Their music not only entertains but also inspires. It speaks to our shared experiences and brings us together in a celebration of our city’s rich cultural diversity.”

The festival will also feature a variety of local businesses –   local vendors across fashion, accessories, beauty, wellness, art and food vendors offering a tantalizing array of delicacies across the Diaspora (Africa and cuisines by people of African descent) to satisfy all tastes. Plus, an exciting range of interactive experiences, from our taste and vote chef contest, dance workshops to artist meet-and-greets, ensuring that there’s something for everyone at this year’s African Popup Festival.
